Today’s smartphones mean we’re constantly glued to our screens, even when we should not be. Volkswagen has developed App-Connect so drivers can select smartphone apps right from their dash and keep their focus on the road. To promote this, we came up with a print and outdoor campaign that reminds people about the importance of safe driving.
The visual language of this campaign is centered around the current trends of mobile interface design.
The typography is formed using popular and visually arresting app logos. Ranging from two dimensional icons of the apps, to bright and vibrant use of colour, both flat and in gradients.
Even to the simple outline designs of the smartphone devices themselves - every aspect of this campaign attracts the viewer in the same manner as their own mobile would, but with a twist. The longer you look, the more the message reveals itself.

We developed an e-mailer that redirected people to an interactive crossword puzzle.
This game enabled everyone to engage with the brand across various social platforms and also emerged
as a canvas to create and share their own puzzles with friends.
The concept rolled-out across emailer, tablet, desktop and digital screens as well as static posts on social media.
